As a confessed foodie, there is not much I enjoy better than a great restaurant. There is something special about dining when everything clicks – inventive food that delights the eye and the palate, attentive service, a wonderful ambiance enhanced by music, attention to detail, and a feeling that you are a very special guest.

Everything clicks at the Cancun restaurant MB at the Aqua Resort in Cancun Mexico, which is oceanfront in the Zona Hotelera.
Celebrity Chef Michelle Bernstein has masterminded a treasure that meets all my requirements I listed above (check out this video interview). The starter was a flavorful watercress salad, and my linguine with lobster, goat cheese and other wonderful additions and seasonings was absolutely delicious. Dessert was am amazing chocolate tart with a surprise birthday addition.. The BEST part was sharing this with a very special person ~ my wife, Kay.
A James Beard award is just a hint of the talent this chef brings to her fabulous restaurant. If you can’t get to Cancun, why not try out her top notch eateries in Miami, Mitchy’s or SRA.Martinez..
My only regret? I only ate there once and there isn’t one close to me here in SoCal.
